With the predicted growth of South-East Queensland, the challenge of maintaining the liveability of the cities is presented. A possible solution is presented through the usage of green infrastructure, this including trees, parks, natural corridors, and water-sensitive streetscapes. Together, these all work to make the cities cooler, healthier, and more connected. Due to urban areas being prone to increased temperatures as a result of materials they were built from, the importance of green infrastructure and its presence in major cities cannot be understated.
