Project Description
Birgu, with its timeless limestone facades, intricate wooden balconies, and winding alleyways, served as our primary inspiration. The clients wanted to infuse a sense of vibrancy into the space while remaining true to the essence of Maltese architecture. To achieve this, we carefully selected two distinctive colours bold yet sophisticated to give each room a unique identity. This approach allowed the guest house to develop a strong visual narrative, where each room takes on a personality of its own while remaining part of a cohesive whole. These colours not only provide a fresh contrast against the traditional limestone but also create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, enhancing the overall spatial experience.
