HIA welcomes the announcement on skilled migration and the State Government’s negotiations with the Federal Government to increase the number of places in the State Nominated Migration program. “The 5000 State Nominated Visas’ gives the Cook Government control of who and how our state’s critical skill shortages are addressed,” HIA Executive Director Michael McGowan said.
