The Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) is the local component of the Planning Policy Framework within the Melbourne Planning Scheme. The MPS incorporates the vision and objectives of Council’s strategies, plans, policies and responses to emerging issues for managing land use and development for the next 10 to 20 years. Amendment C432 proposes to introduce a new Municipal Planning Strategy, and provide new policies for all local areas within the City of Melbourne in the Melbourne Planning Scheme. Consultation closes Monday 16 September.
