New data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare shows rental stress for individuals aged 75 and over has increased by 116% since 2013, threatening to push older Australians over the edge, with rental systems not supporting them. This strain in cost is driving older Australians to homelessness or sacrificing health-related costs. More support is required for this population to work towards and affordable solution.
