The ACT Property Council has welcomed confirmation that the ACT will adopt the National Construction Code (NCC) 2025 over a 12‑month transition period, providing industry with greater certainty as it prepares for the new code. NCC 2025 will be available for adoption in the ACT from 1 May 2026 and become mandatory from 1 May 2027, aligning the Territory’s timeframe with NSW and Queensland.
