Project Description
If a straight line is the shortest path between two points, a curve is what makes concrete reach for infinity." With this quote from our illustrious Oscar Niemeyer, we introduce this duplex in Moema , whose upper floor was completely remodeled to meet the needs of a young couple who love to cook and entertain. The project started with a large curved wooden panel, which begins right in front of the staircase coming from below, running throughout the living room to the kitchen, thus integrating all these spaces. In addition to bringing movement and dynamism through its curves, the panel is also quite functional, incorporating the powder room that previously occupied part of the kitchen area, small doors that reveal a built-in desk, a niche in which the TV, which runs on tracks, can be completely hidden, and finally, the tall kitchen cabinets.
