Project Description provided by DesignInc - University of New South Wales (UNSW) is one of Australia’s top ranked schools—ranked 19th globally for a second consecutive year in the QS World University Rankings 2025.
To continue its command and influence as one of the nation’s most prestigious institutions, UNSW have set up a professional campus in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The campus is an affirmation of their respected education programs, designed for their students’ convenience and service access.
DesignInc’s Interiors team led the design of the UNSW’s City Campus located within the Poly Centre at 210 George Street, Sydney. The design retrofits a two-storey education facility into a commercial office building, requiring a conversion of use and Development Application business case. The site capitalises on its CBD location and is in close proximity to key transport interchanges of Circular Quay, Wynyard and Town Hall.
